We came back to try again, having some not so great experience last time. I think the food and service had turned around our experiences. They do know how to impress. And we are happy we came again. Sitting outdoor this time was an absolute great choice as the view and vibe was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

We did the taste & tour as we were in the early stages of consideration for a wedding venue.The food we tried from Antoine was fantastic, with the starter bread, fish pie, pork belly, and cauliflower veloute being standouts. The steak was also perfectly cooked and the truffle mash paired well with it. The chocolate fondant was an indulgent dessert to top it off!Peter was very friendly and extremely helpful with our questions. We had a great time chatting and will be keeping this venue in mind even though it’s the first we’ve viewed!

My partner and I had our complimentary dinner here on Saturday night and we’re still raving to our friends and family about the excellent food and the wonderful hospitality shown to us. From the canapés, entrees, mains and desserts, we were so incredibly looked after by the staff. Their extensive wine menu was also amazing. The fact that the chef personally delivered the canapés to our table and explained to us what we were diving into was a beautiful touch. Special shout out to Peter also for keeping us updated with all of the items on the menu and making sure we were well looked after. We can’t wait to be back again!

The staff were very professional, warm and friendly and went to great lengths to make our birthday celebration a pleasant experience.The menu was not extensive but it contained a range of meals which appealed to our eight attendees.We were seated at a table under cover on the terrace and this presented a wonderful view of the city across Blackwattle Bay. Unfortunately, the weather gods offered a slightly cold evening but the restaurant assisted us with outdoor gas heaters.Many thanks to Bellevue Cottage for a quality experience.

This restaurant is an absolute hidden gem. We were given the opportunity to dine here back in August and try out whatever we liked on the menu, and I am so grateful for that.At night this place looks like something ethereal, like straight out of a fairytale with the fairylights warmly glowing by a scenic waterfront.The food sent me to culinary heaven. We had a little tasting plate that showed off all the entrees, and when it comes to the mains the The Normandy fish pie is hands down one of the best things I've eaten to date, and I've eaten a lot of things. AND I don't normally like cooked fish! The truffle potato mash also was incredible. What a feast we had, I cannot wait to come back here again when I have the chance.

We had a wonderful meal last night at Bellevue by Antoine. The venue is quite lovely - a restored heritage cottage built in 1896 that looks out over Blackwattle Bay and the Anzac Bridge with interesting artwork hanging in each room.I can honestly say everything we ate was delicious! Being a huge truffle fan I really liked the cauliflower veloute with truffle oil for entree and also the creamy truffle mash side while my partner raved about the confit of Petuna salmon and the eye fillet steak. We were told the eye fillet was the best steak in Sydney and I think it actually could well be - a premium piece of meat and cooked to absolute perfection! I seriously can’t remember the last time I tasted a steak that good. The desserts were both excellent too - the chocolate fondant oozing chocolate just like you want it to and the stand out being the Luna goat cheese bavarois which was like a deconstructed cheesecake and super delish.For the quality of food, we were a little surprised by how reasonable the prices are. Will definitely be going again and bring friends.

Beautiful rustic cottage with a lovely view of the city, not sure where else in Sydney you'd get such a peaceful ambience!The wait staff were attentive, friendly, and worked very hard. We sat outside so it's possible there were many diners inside, but we did think it was odd that we were served by every single member of the wait staff instead of having a set person for the night. Seems inefficient!We were recommended lovely wine pairings for our mains, that suited very well.Unfortunately we found the food mostly disappointing, or just okay.The steak tartare was okay, with nice coriander flavours. I really enjoyed the salmon entree.For mains we had the pork belly and fish pie. The pork belly itself was nice, but we could not find the pickled papaya anywhere. It was served in a deep bowl, difficult to cut the pork belly, with a clumsy and excessive serving of Savoy cabbage. Overall, it was fine, but I've had better at Tommy's diner nearby, or any German pub. It wasn't particularly elevated or refined as I'd expect for this place. Rustic pub fare.The fish pie was marked as a house speciality, and I see many raving reviews... But I was not that impressed. It was very rich and creamy with nothing to counteract the richness. I did not taste any truffle. I found it quite plain, again a heavily rustic, homely fare.The chocolate fondant was to die for, with very good quality chocolate. It was a good serving size.The Luna goat cheese bavarois was odd. It was served with a lot of poached pear and an excessive base of crumble, neither mentioned on the menu. The bavarois itself was not to our liking but it was our first time trying it. It felt like a breakfast granola with a weird cheese on top.Overall, it wasn't good enough to tempt us to return, even though we only live two streets away... We're glad we went, and if you order the right dishes we would still recommend going, but it doesn't rate anywhere near the top of our fine dining experiences.

I do ALOT of fine dining andeating out in general and can honestly say this restaurant is absolutely is a hidden gem that’s a 10min taxi from the city CBD. The degustation menu is very filling and delicious and the wine menu is fantastic. The wine menu prices are comparable to other city fine dining restaurants but with a good french and international as well as Australian wine selection. My only negative reviews is the service at the start could be better as they waiters didn’t ask me if I wanted a glass of anything while I waited for my friends to arrived, I was dying for a glass of champagne. The other negative is the degustation menu is a little more expensive than other fine dining restaurants for the dishes that were being served. We had a 7pm dinner booking and the view to the city from the bayview inside table was good but in summer I’d recommend getting a table outside. There’s also gas heaters at the tables for colder nights or days as well but great views to the ANZAC bridge and city. There’s free street parking but Uber ride is much better as it was only $21 from Circular Quay during Friday peak hour traffic.

Looking for a venue for daughters small wedding. Did tasting tour. Venue is lovely, great location and the food was fantastic. Thoroughly recommend. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely a very strong contender, and it is only the first place we have looked at! Thanks Peter
